Scholarships can be applied to airfare and hotel room rates. You will need to submit proof of residency/fellowship AND a letter of interest, addressed to the symposium directors, detailing why you want to attend the symposium, how you believe your attendance will be beneficial for your educational growth, what you hope to gain from the meeting, and any other information you wish to note.

A processing fee of $150.00 will be charged for all cancellations received after this date. The cost of the meal functions will also be deducted from the refund unless cancellation is received 48 hours in advance of the program. Fees will not be refunded for no-shows.

Being a novice at Controversies, I really thought it was such a uniquely interesting concept that really worked wonderfully well cutting out the padding and generating great discussion!"

Past Attendee Testimonial

"As always, a pleasure to see all of you again – catching up is an important part of the meeting for me.  More important, I always go home with new ideas and thoughts,  and I thank you all for continuing to educate me.  But most important, thanks to Jeff, Ken, Murad and Rox for being the orchestrators of this great learning opportunity."
